Which Spam Software?

Spam has become a real problem these days.
Fortunately, the users of Linux and other open-source systems have written a lot
of good anti spam software. If you used your e-mail to register on some
Web sites or publish a few articles in the newsgroup, you probably started to
receive lots of spam emails.
A anti spam software may be sophisticated or simple, easy or difficult to
use, more or less effective. You can find dozens of these programs on the
Internet.
Not all anti spam software works the same. Some offer an installed solution, while another will only host
application on a application service provider (ASP).
These anti Spam software represents
an unusual opportunity for organizations such as libraries, youth clubs and
community-resource agencies that need protection against pornographic spam. If
they choose one with no hidden costs or multiple-user licensing fees, it could
protect children who would be exposed to that kind of vile e-mail at no extra
cost whatsoever.
Businesses would benefit, too, of course. Large offices usually can afford spam
blockers connected to an office network, but smaller ones usually can't afford
commercial, server-based anti spam software.
It is best to include such a anti spam software
system in an evaluation, but it is equally important to evaluate the anti
spam software features based on its capability to meet requirements.

you
